Alright we admit it, we caught the travel bug, albeit Michael is more interested in the destination rather than how we got there. Sometimes though getting there is the experience itself. This web site is a photographic, and sometimes video, collection of our travels both in the United Kingdom, and further afield.
Hopefully you will find it easy to navigate. Finding specific media can be achieved through a time filter process "When" or a place filter process "Where". Eventually we hope to introduce a search engine so you can locate a specific item, in a word a "What".
But for now, you either select a year, or a country (having selected Albums from the menu) and then drill down to a desired album. You will eventually land on a little narrative specific to that album, and can then view related photos or videos by clicking the relevant icon. We hope you enjoy.
Our idea here was to place our memories in one place, for us to enjoy. But more than happy to share these with friends and family. Better they look at this stuff on their own pace (if they want to), rather than it being imposed upon if ever they dare visit us. Especially if we have just returned from another sojourn!
By all means contact us with any comments, and given some of the photographs can be picturesque if not at times stunning (the area we were at not the quality of the image) we are more than happy to share the file, sending you the RAW original. In saying that it was only in 2009 that we could afford our first quality camera, so quality of the images before that date were, I'm afraid, hit and miss. You might even suggest those after that date aren't too great either - blame the photographer!
